Inventory Control Supervisor





This position is responsible for overseeing procedures & processes of managing inventory control.  They will also assist Production, Purchasing and Warehouse teams in managing inventory. A strong leader and detail-oriented personality is critical to the success of this position.

The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·       Supervise and train team members in all facilities

·       Reviewing inventory daily, and facilitate the communication to other departments

·       Analyze Inventory Adjustments to improve inventory accuracy

·       Responsible for all inventory transactions, (Production Scrap, Part adjustments, Inventory adjustments etc.)

·       Work with Purchasing, Engineering and Production to ensure inventory levels are accurate and reduce excess inventory and variation.

·       Coordinate efforts between Warehouse, Cycle Counters and Production.

·       Responsible for Physical Inventory training and organization

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

·       Proven attention to detail and data entry accuracy is a must

·       Experience in Inventory Control and Manufacturing

·       Competent with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Outlook

·       Experience with SAGE100 or other accounting software is a plus

·       Willingness to work overtime as necessary to complete a project is required

·       Able to create and manage complicated Excel spreadsheets

·       High school diploma or equivalent minimum

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

·       Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance (i.e. squat/thrust).

·       Must be capable of working prolonged periods standing, sitting, squatting, and bending.

·       Must always follow all safety policies.

·       Ability to work in all environments both outdoors and non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facilities and/or warehouses.

·       Must be able to work in a facility that manufactures and/or works with various chemicals and materials such as fiberglass, resin, plastic, dust, glue, primer, foam, etc.

Hourly, based on experience
