Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Build better processes. Develop great people. Make an impact you can actually see.
We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager who gets energized by the question,“How can we make this better?”
Better processes. Better quality. Smarter automation. Stronger teams. Safer operations. More consistent production. This is a leadership role for someone who wants to be close to where things are actually being built and have a direct hand in improving how we build them.
You'll lead a multidisciplinary Manufacturing Engineering Department that includes Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, and our Mold Shop, while partnering across Production, Quality, Design Engineering, Maintenance, Safety, and leadership.
If you're the kind of engineering leader who likes solving real manufacturing problems, developing people, digging into data, and turning good ideas into practical improvements, keep reading.
What You'll Get to Own
Lead and develop a technical team
Great manufacturing systems still depend on great people.
You'll manage and coach Process Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Automation Engineers, and the Mold Shop team. You'll help your team strengthen their capabilities, use lean tools and methodologies, and keep continuous improvement, safety, quality, and efficiency at the center of the work.
This isn't simply about assigning projects. It's about building a team that knows how to solve problems.
Turn manufacturing problems into better processes
You'll help ensure our production processes are reliable, consistent, and capable of meeting internal and external product requirements before products leave the facility. You'll use process data, quality methodologies, and strong problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and develop proactive solutions.
You'll also help design manufacturing systems and molds with a focus on improving quality and throughput, while driving initiatives around quality, cost reduction, and operational performance.
Bring new technology onto the production floor
If automation and manufacturing technology are the parts of engineering that get you excited, there's plenty of opportunity here.
You'll support robotic automation innovation and implementation, as well as 3D printing and scanning needs for production and engineering projects. You'll also serve as a manufacturing process-controls partner to our Manufacturing and Maintenance groups and support custom internal manufacturing needs.
Think strategically, then make it happen
You'll connect engineering priorities to broader company and production needs while keeping projects moving.
That means assessing project scope, monitoring objectives and team metrics, managing projects against timelines and budgets, and collaborating across Engineering, Production, and Quality.
We need someone who can see the bigger picture and work through the details required to get there.
You Might Be Our Person If...
You're someone who naturally sees opportunities for improvement.
You ask why a process works the way it does and aren't satisfied with “because we've always done it that way.”
You can move comfortably between numbers, processes, technology, and people. You know data matters, but you also know that sustainable improvements require getting the people doing the work involved.
Most importantly, you're a leader who wants to coach and develop a technical team, not simply manage one.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent education and technical experience, with an engineering-related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance standards and methodologies.
- Experience using data analysis and statistical methods.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous manufacturing experience with acrylic, fiberglass, and alternate spa backing methods, which is required for this position.
- Advanced Problem Solving certification is preferred, but not required.
