Mold Shop Team Member (3rd Shift)

It starts with the mold.

As a Third Shift Mold Shop Team Member, you'll work behind the scenes creating, repairing, and maintaining the molds that shape the products we're known for.

This isn't traditional production work where you're doing the exact same task over and over. It's hands-on craftsmanship mixed with mechanical problem-solving, fabrication, precision, and troubleshooting.

If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy figuring out how things are built, and would rather repair, build, modify, and improve something than simply stand on an assembly line, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

What You'll Do

Every spa we manufacture depends on molds that are accurate, durable, and ready for production.

Your job is to help make sure they stay that way.

Build It. Repair It. Make It Better.

You'll work hands-on with the molds that create our hot tubs and swim spas.

• Fabricate mold components using specifications, blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
• Build, modify, and assemble mold components including cores, cavities, and inserts.
• Repair damaged molds and get them back into production-ready condition.
• Replace worn or damaged components to extend the life of our molds.
• Clean, polish, and maintain molds so they're ready when Production needs them.

Solve Problems Production Can't Ignore

When a mold isn't performing correctly, production can feel it.

That's where your problem-solving skills matter.

You'll inspect molds for accuracy and quality, troubleshoot defects, test repairs, make adjustments, and help determine what needs to happen to get the mold performing correctly again.

Sometimes that means following a drawing precisely.

Sometimes it means looking at a problem and thinking:

"Okay...how are we going to fix this?"

Work Where Precision Matters

A small problem with a mold can become a much bigger problem once production starts.

You'll:

• Inspect completed work for dimensional accuracy and functionality.
• Make sure molds meet Engineering and Production specifications.
• Pay close attention to details throughout fabrication and repair.
• Help identify problems before they create defects or downtime.
• Take pride in knowing that the quality of the finished product starts with the quality of your work.

Help Build What's Next

You won't only maintain what already exists.

You'll work with Engineering, Product Development, Production, Quality, and Maintenance on mold construction, improvement projects, and new product launches.

You'll have opportunities to recommend changes that improve mold durability, manufacturing efficiency, and product quality.

Because sometimes the best question isn't:

"How do we fix this?"

It's:

"How do we make sure we don't have to fix it again?"

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who likes working with both their hands and their brain. You don't necessarily need to come from the hot tub industry. But you should be someone who enjoys mechanical work, understands the importance of precision, and isn't intimidated by figuring out something unfamiliar.

You'll likely be successful if you:

• Are mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on fabrication or repair work.
• Can read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, or technical drawings.
• Have strong problem-solving skills.
• Notice details other people might overlook.
• Take pride in producing accurate, quality work.
• Are dependable and have a strong attendance record.
• Can work independently while still being a strong teammate.
• Have experience with mold-making, tooling, fabrication, fiberglass manufacturing, or similar work—or have transferable skills you're ready to build on.
• Have forklift experience—helpful, but not required.

What You Can Expect

This is a role where you can develop specialized manufacturing skills while seeing the results of your work every day.

You'll get hands-on experience with fabrication, mold repair, tooling materials, fiberglass, technical drawings, and troubleshooting while working alongside Engineering and other manufacturing teams.
