Mold Shop (2nd Shift)

Our hand-crafted Spas and Swim Spas are made and tested to the highest quality standard and that quality starts with our team members in production areas including our Mold and CNC Shops. This role includes the aspects of fabricating, maintaining and repairing our spa molds, patterns, and plugs. You would use your technical expertise, precision, and attention to detail to create and maintain molds that meet the specified requirements and enable efficient production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, or technical drawings to understand mold specifications.
· Use various tools, equipment, and machinery to fabricate mold components, such as cores, cavities, and inserts, according to design specifications.
· Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure the mold design meets functional and aesthetic requirements.
· Conduct thorough inspections and tests on completed molds to ensure they meet quality standards, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
· Troubleshoot and fix any issues or malfunctions with molds, identifying and resolving problems to minimize production downtime.
· Maintain and repair existing molds by cleaning, polishing, and replacing worn or damaged components to ensure their longevity and optimal performance.
· Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the mold making process.
· Support the CNC Shop through activities including (but not limited to) start/stop machine, clean up, work piece positioning, and foam block fabrication.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent minimum
· Ability to learn a variety of tasks.
· Knowledge of mold making techniques, materials, and processes.
· Attention to detail and precision to ensure molds meet specific design specifications.
· Physical dexterity and stamina to handle various tools and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
· Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to mold making.
· Good attendance record
· Forklift experience is a plus.
· Fiberglass experience is a plus.
· CNC Experience is a plus.

SCHEDULE:
Mon – Thurs 1:00pm-11:00pm, with possibility/probability of production on Fridays
COMPENSATION:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour to start plus a 10% second shift premium and competitive benefits package
