Class A CDL Driver (Local)





As a Class A CDL driver for Master Spas, you will move, stage and deliver dry vans as necessary between company warehouses/facilities in a timely manner here in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Loading and unloading assistance may be necessary to support the various department schedules. The ability to be flexible as schedules change is key to our success. We are looking for someone who can work well in an environment such as this to meet customer demands.

The essential duties and responsibilities vary based on the department assigned. General duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Valid and Current Class A CDL Required
  • Commitment to safety.
  • Safely operate tractor-trailer, delivering goods between warehouses, sometimes over intercity routes.
  • Follow all applicable traffic laws.
  • Must secure a forklift operator’s license through Master Spas and keep current as required.
  • Maintain and fill out pre-trip log.
  • Be self-motivated and be flexible with scheduling.
  • Maintain a good attendance record.
  • Strong time management is essential to the responsibilities of this role.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess clean driving record and current Class A CDL
  • Pallet Jack/Forklift experience
  • Ability to learn a variety of tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools

JOB TYPE:
Full Time

SCHEDULE:

Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:00pm, possible overtime as assigned.

COMPENSATION:

Our starting rate for Class A CDL Driver with minimum skill sets range from $24-$28/hr. In situations where the candidate comes in with skills that exceed what we are looking for, they have the opportunity to earn significantly more once those skills are confirmed.
