Accounting/Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Controller this position is responsible for assisting the accounting department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Entering purchase order invoices (experience with 3-way match helpful)
  • Entering Accounts Payable invoices
  • Understanding of GL accounts
  • Invoicing shipments and closing work orders
  • Account analysis and review as necessary
  • Inventory reconciliation
  • Communicating with vendors and/or dealers to resolve outstanding invoices
  • Scanning, answering phones, & other basic administrative tasks

Additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma minimum
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable in a Manufacturing environment helpful
  • Strong communications skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, primarily Excel
  • Experience in Sage 100 helpful

POSITION DETAILS:

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7am-5pm (hour unpaid lunch daily) Friday 8am-12pm

Compensation: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour depending on experience
